Amorphous plastic enables an extremely fine finish and tolerance. Certain types are suitable for chromium-plating. There are many choices in regard to rigidity, toughness, shockproof additives like antistatic agents, fire retardants etc. Typically used for electronic devices (telephones, mixers, TV sets and vacuum cleaners), fittings, knobs, press buttons etc.
Density approx. 1,05 g/cm³. Glueable.
Maximum use temperature, unstressed approx. 80º C.
Not suitable for outdoor use.
